So I am currently staying at the Hilton Hotel in the Twin Cities for a conference known as TCX. But you should know that it is not only I that is here. There are 1800 other students from the midwest region here at the Hilton Hotel to learn more about our Lord. TCX stands for the Twin Cities eXperience, and is a conference put on by CRU, the same organization I am going with to 4th Journey. If I have not yet explained why I called this place 4th Journey, instead of the country's name, it is for the protection of the travelers and the students there who become believers of Christ. Where we are going it is legal to share the Gospel to adults. It is illegal to share with minors. This is why we reach out to the college population. This is also the first time that many of these students may have been presented with the opportunity to hear about our Savior Jesus Christ, because in 4J it is likely that no one has ever shared the story of Jesus with them. I think it is important to realize that the people of 4J do not need the Gospel more than you or I, we all need it equally. However, for us the Gospel is very accessable, and for the people of 4J it is almost non-existant. Romans 10:14-17. A Bible verse that explains perfectly one reason I want to go on this vision trip. It states, "But how are they to call on one in whom they have not believed? And how are they to belive in one whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone to proclaim Him? And how are they to proclaim unless they are sent? As it is written, 'How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!' But not all have obeyed the good news for Isaiah says, 'Lord, who has believed our message?' So faith comes from what is heard, and what is heard comes through the word of Christ." This is such a powerful message. A passage telling us to share God's Hope. To reach the unreached, and share a story that has transformed many lives. I feel this calling. I feel God working through me, calling me to this unreached area in our world. And I pray that while we are in this non-Christian country God places people in our lives that are open to learning about Jesus Christ. People who want to learn. People who are transformed by the Grace of God.
